## Overview

SAO4503I-LPP is a rugged, low-profile omnidirectional antenna for 450–470 MHz UHF data links. Its ground-plane-independent design removes the need for a metallic mounting surface, so it can be installed on fiberglass, composite and other non-metallic panels up to 0.2 inches thick.

The whipless dome stands 3.3 inches above the mounting surface, providing a discreet and mechanically robust alternative to exposed whip antennas on vehicles, trailers and equipment enclosures. A permanent 5/8 inch stud mount with an O-ring seal secures the antenna against weather and vibration, and the N-female termination underneath the mounting surface keeps the RF connection protected and straightforward to integrate.

With 3 dBi peak gain, better than 2.0:1 VSWR and 50 W power handling across the band, SAO4503I-LPP suits mobile data, telemetry, automation and control installations that need dependable UHF coverage from a compact, sealed antenna.
